Origin:

The Vallendar family has been distilling fruit brandies at the highest level for several generations. At the estate founded in 1824 in Wincheringen-Bilzingen, situated on a ridge between the Moselle and Saar wine-growing regions in the border triangle of France-Luxembourg-Germany, master distiller Andreas Vallendar is conscious of tradition and innovation in his modern cappuccino distillery. Only in this way can distillates of the best quality be created.

On the basis of noble brandies, spirits and the natural fruit, Mosel Distillers produce single-variety handmade spirits with their own and unmistakable aroma. The rare old fruit varieties of the Saargau, the full ripeness and the perfect balance between fruit sweetness and acidity promise a juicy and mild drinking pleasure.

Waldhimbeere

The Old Forest Raspberry is a true classic and, compared to the ordinary raspberry, captivates with its much more intense aroma. The sun-ripened berries make our distillate already fruity to the nose before the mouth perceives the typical berry and slightly sweet taste. An ideal companion to a fruity dessert.

 
Marille Royal

Our royal apricot rightly bears its name. The subtle, never intrusive fruit flavour of the exquisite Marille Royal makes this distillate so special. Elegant and soft, the queen of fruit varieties - as the Marille Royal is called in Austria - dances across the tongue and palate and impresses with its mild finish.

 

Mirabelle von Metz

The Mirabelle of Metz is a very old variety that originated in Lorraine, was once widespread and is now rarely found in the Saarland and Rhineland-Palatinate. Our distillate arrives intensely and powerfully on the tongue due to the full-aromatic taste of the mirabelle, beguiles the palate and is wonderfully fruity on the finish.

 

Williams Christ Birne

An absolute classic that no well-stocked bar cabinet should be without and that even our grandfathers appreciated. Already the smell lets you experience the pear wonderfully, in the mouth it comes across strong and full-bodied and goes perfectly with cheese dishes or a pear or apple dessert.

 

Schönberger Zwetschge

The distillate from the very sweet fruit of this traditional variety comes across as clear, full-bodied and solid. Its density in the mouth is overwhelming, subtle hints of almond and marzipan can be detected without overpowering the plum.

 

Runde Römer Haselnuss

Our Hazelnut is made from carefully selected lightly roasted hazelnuts "Round Romans". Their trademark is the strong nut-nougat flavour, which is soft and multi-layered in the mouth, presents fine roasted aromas and, despite its intensity, nestles mildly on the palate and throat.

 

Stevnsbaer Kirsche

The dark red to black Stevnsbaer cherry is over a hundred years old, has its origins in Denmark and is therefore also called "the grape of the North". The extremely strong aroma of the sour cherry gives our distillate a great nose, which develops in the mouth into a flavour of high aromatic intensity and goes excellently with sweet desserts.

 

Rubinette Apfel

The Rubinette apple is the "child" of the apple varieties Golden Delicious and Cox Orange - truly the best prerequisites for our very tasty apple distillate. The note in the nose is fine, the gusto in the mouth has a fine juiciness to offer and comes across as full-bodied and powerful despite its sweetness. A pleasure for special occasions.
